Multi-property setup across your Profitroom accounts
Connect 2 to 30 Profitroom properties to a unified group management dashboard.
The Multi-Property Central Management Module connects to multiple Profitroom property accounts at the same time, each using its own API credentials. This guide covers the connection and configuration process end to end.
Prerequisites
- An active Profitroom account for each property in your group (individual Profitroom accounts, not sub-accounts)
- API access enabled on every Profitroom account (check with Profitroom support if you are unsure)
- API keys generated from each Profitroom account (see the Profitroom access guide)
- An active Multi-Property Central Management Module subscription in your Profitroomshop Client Area
Step 1: add your first Profitroom property
Inside your Profitroomshop Client Area, open Multi-Property → Properties → Add property. Enter the property name, the Profitroom API key and the API endpoint URL for the first property. Click "Test connection" — the module will confirm the property name returned by the Profitroom API. Save the property.
Step 2: add the remaining properties
Repeat the process from Step 1 for every additional Profitroom property. There is no limit up to the 30-property cap on the current module plan. Each property uses its own API credentials.
Step 3: configure the group KPI dashboard
Open Multi-Property → Group dashboard. Select the metrics to show at the group level: occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, arrivals today, departures today, 7-day pickup, net revenue. Rearrange the KPI tiles by drag and drop. The dashboard refreshes data from every connected Profitroom API every 15 minutes.
Step 4: enable rate-parity monitoring
Open Multi-Property → Parity → Configure. Select the room-type pairs across properties that should be monitored for rate parity (for example "Standard Double" across every property in the group). Set the parity alert threshold — the maximum rate gap before the alert fires (default: 15%). Alerts are delivered by email and appear on the dashboard.
Step 5: bulk rate operations
To apply the same rate change to several properties at once, open Multi-Property → Bulk rate update. Select the properties, the rate plans and the date range. Enter the new rate or the adjustment (absolute or percentage). Review the preview screen showing the new rates per property before you commit. Click "Push to Profitroom" — rates are sent to every selected Profitroom property API simultaneously. A confirmation screen shows the success or failure status per property.
Troubleshooting multi-property connection issues
If a property shows "Connection error" on the dashboard: check whether the API key has been rotated in that property's Profitroom admin panel; check that API access is still enabled on the Profitroom account; and try re-entering the API credentials. If the problem persists, contact support@profitroomshop.org with the subject "Multi-property connection issue" and include the name of the affected property.
