Everything you need to know about Profitroomshop modules for the Profitroom booking engine — from your first order to day-to-day operation.
Getting started
Profitroomshop is an independent third-party marketplace of extension modules for the Profitroom booking-engine platform. We build and maintain modules that connect to your existing Profitroom account through the official Profitroom API and add functionality that is not included in the standard Profitroom subscription — such as an embeddable direct-booking widget, Airbnb and Vrbo sync, multi-property central management, advanced BI dashboards, eIDAS electronic signature and abandoned-cart recovery automation.
Yes. Every Profitroomshop module is an extension to Profitroom, not a replacement. You must already hold an active, paid Profitroom subscription with API access enabled on your plan. Modules connect to your Profitroom account using your Profitroom API credentials and operate on top of your existing Profitroom data.
No. Profitroomshop is a fully independent third-party company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Profitroom S.A. or its parent company. Profitroom is a registered trademark of Profitroom S.A. Profitroomshop builds modules that use the publicly documented Profitroom API.
Sign in to your Profitroom account and go to Settings → Integrations → API access (the exact path may vary by Profitroom release). Generate a new API key and copy it immediately — Profitroom typically displays the full key only once. You then paste it into your Profitroomshop Client Area settings. For a step-by-step walk-through, see our guide: How to access your Profitroom account.
API availability inside Profitroom depends on your Profitroom subscription. Not every Profitroom plan enables API access by default. Contact Profitroom directly to confirm that your current plan includes API access, or to upgrade to one that does. Profitroomshop cannot grant or modify Profitroom API access — that is entirely controlled by Profitroom.
Purchase and billing
After you confirm your order, a secure payment link is emailed to you within 5 minutes. Open the link and complete payment through the secured page. Your modules activate as soon as the payment clears. Billing is monthly — you will receive a new payment link each month, or we will charge your stored payment method if you have enabled saved-card billing.
All Profitroomshop prices are shown in euros (EUR). If you are billed outside the eurozone, your bank may apply currency conversion fees. The applicable VAT is calculated at checkout based on your billing country.
Yes. If you are a VAT-registered business inside the EU, enter your EU VAT number at checkout. We issue a VAT-compliant invoice under Profitroomshop d.o.o. (PIB: 04567892, Crna Gora). B2B services supplied from a Montenegrin company to an EU VAT number are treated as VAT reverse-charge transactions in most member states — check with your accountant to confirm the treatment in your jurisdiction.
Yes. You can cancel any module subscription at any time from your Profitroomshop Client Area dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fee applies. See our Refund Policy for pro-rata refund terms when cancelling mid-period.
Bundled pricing is available when you purchase 3 or more modules together. Contact us at support@profitroomshop.org before you order to request a bundle quote. The discount is applied as a credit on your next invoice.
Technical and support
We monitor the Profitroom API changelog and re-test every module against each new Profitroom API release. When a breaking change is detected, we ship a compatibility patch for the affected module — typically within 48 hours of the Profitroom API change. You will receive an email notification if a module is temporarily unavailable because of an upstream API update. No billing is charged during confirmed outage windows caused by upstream API changes.
Your Profitroom API key is encrypted at rest with AES-256 inside the Profitroomshop infrastructure. It is transmitted only over TLS 1.3. It is never shared with third parties, never written to logs in plain text, and is not visible to Profitroomshop support staff. You can revoke access at any time by removing the key from your Profitroomshop Client Area, which also immediately revokes API access for every active module.
Email support is available at support@profitroomshop.org, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 CET. Average response time is under 4 hours on working days. For onboarding, in-app guided setup flows are available inside your Client Area for every module. The Guides and Academy sections of this site also cover self-service documentation.
Yes. You can connect multiple Profitroomshop modules to the same Profitroom account with a single API key. Inside the Profitroomshop Client Area, the API key is stored once and shared across every connected module. For Multi-Property Central Management users, each Profitroom property requires its own key — one key per Profitroom account.
Profitroomshop modules read reservation and rate data from Profitroom through the API in order to perform their function (for example, generate rate recommendations or pre-fill guest-portal data). This data is processed transiently and is not permanently stored in the Profitroomshop infrastructure beyond the operational retention windows described in the Privacy Policy and DPA. No guest payment card data is ever accessed or stored.
